Like A Dream
Macau Day 1

After so long, I'm finally willing to blog about my Macau/Hong Kong trip back from 12 December to 17 December! Our flight was at around 5am, so we reached the airport at about 3pm to check in our baggage and register. We thought we were actually quite early, but there was a queue already...what TT. After all the process of registering, we went to have our really early breakfast. Who even have breakfast this early really.

Ate at Killiney and I ordered wanton noodle :)

So we roamed about the airport, took pictures with some spongebob decorations and christmas tree then tadahhh, it's time for our flight! Dad, mum and bro sat together while I was seated behind my bro. I had a window seat, and sitting beside me was this cute little boy! The flight was approximately 3 hours 50 minutes long. We were served a meal again on the airplane, and I ordered omelette and orange juice. The omelette (with potatoes too) tasted surprisingly good but the orange juice was really bad so I didn't finish it. It was bitter. Pardon for no photos because I was too awkward to snap photos of my meal in front of strangers.

The screen on the airplane had running man so I decided to watch it.  Used my own earpiece because I don't even know the earphones on the plane are used by how many people already. The little boy beside me then went " Why you don't want to use this? *points at the earphones* ". CUTEEE ( not a pedo)

So how can we not take picture of the sky out of the window while we're taking flights? Initially I was still kinda sad that I wouldn't be able to take pictures of the clouds because it's a midnight flight but hey, there's advantages taking midnight flight too :)

Aren't they beautiful? :) So unique as compared to the normal cloudy photos!

Touched down at Hong Kong and we had to take a ferry to reach Macau. We reached at about 10am, but the next ferry leaving for Macau was at 12pm. Poor us had to wait at the airport for 2hours. But no worries, I was actually watching The Heirs to kill time :) And we ate again at the airport....fatdieus
My Shrimp dumling noodles!

This is how the inside of the cruise looks like.

The duration was about 1 hour, so we slept all the way until we've reached Macau. Upon reaching, we took a shuttle bus to our hotel entrance. There are shuttle buses bringing people into respective hotels. I stayed at Hotel Lisboa.  So after that we checked in, but we could only get one room first.  The drinks inside the mini refrigerator were all free. There were Sprite, Coke, Ribena and etc. Where to find such good things? I really really like the hotel room in Macau, shall let pictures do the talking.

So grand looking aren't they? They even have a weighing scale in a bathroom, and the last picture is actually a dragon-like creature formed from tiles.

Placed all our luggages in the room and left for Zhuhai, China. We took a shuttle bus there, and basically we made really good use of the shuttle bus services as our source of transport. I thought there would be many things for me to buy, but I guess I anticipated too much. I got myself a pair of hearts dot shoes only :x

Visited City Of Dreams Hotel, it was really nicely decorated! Their Christmas tree is really nice, even their toilet sign is so special.

It was then time for dinner! We cabbed from the hotel to an eatshop Cheng Chang. Had to go there to try out water crab porridge which it was famous for.

Jeng jeng jeng! Here comes the porridge~~
 Sotong and Cuttlefish balls!
Yummy broccoli with clams.

There's a last dish which was chicken. Didn't take a picture of it because I was eating already haha. The porridge was quite nice! Mum said it was too watery though. And I told her I though it was supposed to be water porridge at first because it was 水蟹粥. I didn't know it meant water crab instead of water porridge....so me.

Didn't stop eating here. We found Portuguese eggtarts! Me and bro bought 1 each. It was really nice, a must-try when you go Macau!

So my day ends here, I'll come back with Hongkong Day 1 soon (hopefully).

Before ending,

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE :)

We wish you a Merry Christmas
